- I slept through my alarm and woke up late.
- I missed the first train since I realised I had to clean vomit off my shoes from the weekend.
- I missed the next train available when I got to the station and realised I didn’t have a valid ticket or any cash.
- I successfully caught the third train, but it was running 10 minutes late.
- Whilst on the train, the driver announced, “As this train is running late, it will no longer be express, and will now stop all stations to the city” – yep, because making an already late train stop at more stations really helps.
- I was in such a rush when I got off the train that I caught the wrong city loop bus, catching the 99c instead of the 99b.
- I also have to leave early today.
Sometimes I wonder why I wake up at all.

Today's been a write off for me too - a 2-hour lunch with a friend, leaving early to meet another friend... aaahh working life.
Squiggle says everyone should not bother with today ... All should go home, and wake up tomorrow like today never happened.
Amen.
My mum DID tell me there would be days like that...but i didn't believe her. Now it's like freakin groundhog day...except without the groundhog.
